Skateboarding!

FYI If you know that you will like skateboarding don't buy a Walmart skateboard like I did! It is terrible and actually makes learning it harder and may even discourage you because you may think that it is you. Hey, I get frustrated a lot, but when I had that lesson, and I used my teachers skateboard, it was noticeable different. So don't worry, try things out and don't get discouraged.
Neat fact:
If you push off with your left foot. Its considered a trick. (can't remember the name ) I naturally push off with my left foot. It is actually rare for a person to do that. I'm not sure why but it is. So if you do that, just know that you are unique in one more way. :-)

Samorost 2 shows you which level you are on by giving you a pass code. you need to jot it down as soon as you can because the only other way to get those codes is to go on the Internet. I don't know what you will think about these games but try them out and comment on them. I would love to hear what you think about this amazing Inde game developer!

Machinarium By Amanita Design
I have just finished this amazing game called Machinarium. It is a full length point-and-click game. Its chock full of puzzles. It is hard and you need the hint book a lot but it is totally worth the time. I love the graphics and I especially love the music. I may even buy a couple songs from the creator. :-) It may look like a depressing game, but that is what makes it so appealing. I personally love the rusted, broken look of the city and robots. It leaves a lot of mystery to the game. I would recommend this game to anyone and everyone. Also take a look at their blogs. They have two other games that I will be trying out soon as well. Also take a look at this website for the music. The music is amazing, definitely my kind of music. http://store.floex.cz/album/machinarium-soundtrack They have many smaller games but one has been nominated for the European Games Awards 2012, Botanicula. I'm going to try this game for sure. Its just like Machinarium except the theme isn't about robots, its about plants. This game also supports wildlife foundations. For example, this game has helped save the habitats of the Tapir. An animal found in Ecuador. I highly recommend this game, and tell lots of your friends about this game and it's developers. So, check out their website and look around! :-) http://amanita-design.net/index.html

??????????????????????????????????????????
What does this title mean? I don't know. Do you? One great talent that artists have is to think outside the box. When an artist looks at something that seems unappealing or boring to a regular person, they see something totally different. They see art, stories, photos and maybe even a sculpture. Now look at this picture and think deeply about it. What I mean is look at the lines, the colour and shape and try to get a feeling from it. Don't just see with your eyes, feel the picture with your eyes. Try it out:

Now what feeling did you get? Do you get a flowing, rhythmic feeling? You can make anything from everything. This is a great exercise. Try this out with another painting or picture. If you are more receptive to flow and feeling rather than just lines and boxes, you not only get more out of a picture you also get great inspiration for artwork of your own.
